Samuel Harker was born and raised on a farm, where hard work, responsibility, and leadership were ingrained from an early age. Summers and after-school hours were filled with milking cows, harvesting hay and corn, and tackling the endless list of chores that came with farm life.
However, it was in the welding shop that Samuel found his true passion—a place where creativity, problem-solving, and leadership naturally came into play. Seeking a more engaging challenge (and an escape from milking cows), he threw himself into mastering the art of welding and fabrication, becoming skilled at constructing hay barns and other essential structures.
Samuel’s talent and dedication eventually led him to BZI Construction, where he earned his welding certifications and spent several years refining his expertise in welding and fabrication.
Armed with a wealth of experience and an entrepreneurial spirit, Samuel partnered with his cousin, Eldon Harker, to launch Patriot Arc Construction. The company began with smaller projects, including joist and deck structures, Dollar General stores, neighborhood Walmart’s, and hay barns. Through unwavering determination and a commitment to quality, they grew the business into a nationwide operation, managing multiple large crews and tackling complex projects across the United States.
Today, Patriot Arc Construction specializes in large-scale industrial steel erection projects, a testament to Samuel’s journey from farm life to becoming a respected leader in the welding and steel construction industry. It’s clear that Samuel’s passion for the industry drives both his personal growth and the continued success of Patriot Arc Construction
Eldon Harker’s roots run deep in the values of hard work, innovation, and craftsmanship,instilled during his upbringing on a family farm. From a young age, he was immersed in a lifestyle where no task was too small and no challenge insurmountable. By the age of 14, Eldon had already earned his welding certifications, a remarkable accomplishment that set him apart as a skilled and resourceful craftsman. His early experiences included a diverse range of construction activities—building farmhouses, pouring concrete, welding railings, and hauling hay—all of which prepared him for a lifelong career in construction.
Summers on the farm were not only about labor but also about learning. Eldon became proficient in operating heavy machinery, transporting hay, and tackling large-scale projects that required precision and teamwork. These formative years built his technical expertise and fostered a strong sense of responsibility and problem-solving, qualities that would define his professional path.
Eldon’s career officially began with BZI Construction, where he gained invaluable experience working in the industrial sector. At BZI, he further refined his welding and fabrication skills while also learning the intricacies of project management and leadership. This hands-on experience exposed him to the challenges and rewards of large-scale construction, sparking his ambition to create something of his own.
Recognizing the potential to merge his expertise with a broader vision, Eldon partnered with his cousin, Samuel Harker, to co-found Patriot Arc Construction. What began as a small operation focused on local projects like retail stores, including Dollar General locations and neighborhood Walmarts, quickly grew into a nationwide enterprise. Under Eldon’s leadership, the company expanded its scope, taking on increasingly complex structural steel projects and earning a reputation for exceptional quality, efficiency, and innovation.
Today, as CEO of Patriot Arc Construction, Eldon oversees a thriving business that specializes in large-scale industrial steel erection projects. His role extends beyond management; he remains deeply involved in the day-to-day operations, ensuring that every project reflects the values of integrity, craftsmanship, and excellence that he embraced from his earliest days on the farm.
Eli is the Chief Operating Officer (COO) at Patriot Arc, LLC, a leading steel erection company. With over three years at the helm of operations, Eli has played a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth, success, and commitment to safety and excellence in the construction industry.
As COO, Eli oversees day-to-day operations, leads project management efforts, and serves as the company’s lead estimator. One of Eli’s key accomplishments includes the development and implementation of the company’s robust safety program, which has become a cornerstone of Patriot Arc’s operations. In addition to managing safety, Eli was instrumental in obtaining the company’s prestigious AISC Erector Certification, as well as Metal Deck and Seismic Endorsements — demonstrating the company’s high standards of quality and expertise in the steel erection industry.
Before joining Patriot Arc, Eli gained extensive experience across a wide range of construction disciplines, from general construction and excavation to coal mining. This diverse background has provided a comprehensive understanding of the construction process, ensuring a well-rounded and informed approach to every project.

Whit Roundy was born and raised in the Northern Arizona and Southern Utah region, where he developed a passion for business during his teenage years. This passion has shaped his academic pursuits and professional career, guiding him to excel in diverse industries. In the early stages of his career, Whit gained hands-on experience in manufacturing and construction, working across the country. This exposure provided him with invaluable insights and a strong foundation for his transition into management and financial services. Over the past 25 years, he has honed and expanded these skills, cultivating a comprehensive understanding of business operations with a specialized focus on the construction industry. Whit has been privileged to work alongside the founders of Patriot Arc LLC since the company’s inception. He is enthusiastic about contributing to its dynamic growth and unprecedented success as Samuel and Eldon revolutionize the steel industry.
